Introduction

With the release of MSN Messenger 7, was glad to see the ‘Hide Frame’ feature that was incorporated for the Contact List, as it was previously incorporated in MSN Messenger 6 for Conversation Windows.
This feature has enabled me to incorporate an Auto-Hide feature for the Contact List.

This plugin is intended to be used with Messenger Plus! and MSN Messenger version 7 and Microsoft Windows XP. in order to work properly.

The Window Manager Plugin features are:

• Contact List
  1. correct handling of ‘Hide Frame’ feature
  2. option to dock the Contact List to the side of the screen | monitor
  3. option to auto-hide the Contact List to the side of the screen | monitor
  4. remove the Contact List taskbar button
  5. auto-opaque when mouse is over the Contact List, if transparency is set from Plus!
  6. auto-hide the menu-bar when mouse is over the Contact List
  7. snap to screen | monitor edges
• Conversation Windows
  1. remove the Contact List taskbar button
  2. auto-opaque when mouse is over the Contact List, if transparency is set from Plus!
  3. snap to screen | monitor edges
• Notification Area
  1. change activities of left and middle mouse buttons
  2. embed a small options submenu in the Notification Area’s context menu
  3. balloon tip to display online contacts
