Multiple Output Plugin

Usage and Other Information

This plugin should probably work on all versions of Winamp, as well as all Windows operating systems.
(I have tested Winamp 2.91, 5.08 with Windows 98 SE, XP SP2).

For the plugin to work properly a primary output plugin must be set, to handle visualizations, etc.
Primary output plugin is denoted by being bold. You can enable as many secondary output plugins as you want, which are denoted by a bullet.
Also you should prefer to have ‘DirectSound’ or ‘waveOut’ as primary output plugins, for the plugin to work properly.

The plugin has a hotkey support feature, to enable and disable output plugins directly from the keyboard, without requiring Winamp focus. this feature though is dependant on the Global Hotkeys plugin, and will only be enabled if the Global Hotkeys plugin is installed in your system.

Please download and install the latest version of Winamp at all times. This ensures a great experience with the (may I say) world’s most popular media player (cred, cred).

Note (regarding WMA support)
First of all I do not support WMA as I am not a fan, I prefer MP3 above all, BUT.
You may experience playback difficulties with DRM licensed WMA files, or ones which have the protected bit set to true. Recent changes to Winamp WMA playback structure (Winamp 5.08e+) require waveOut or DirectSound output plugins to be set as default output plugins in order to play protected audio files, (which makes this plugin unusable).

Using the Winamp 5.08d WMA input plugin or one of a previous version might resolve your playback issues, but will leave you vulnerable to any security risk changes made since then.
